What is counselling and why would I need it?
Here are ten things I have discovered that might help.
Counselling can help you out when life throws a few curve balls your way. Many people seek counselling when this happens, and I am here to help.
In our sessions, I will chat to you about your situation, issues, concerns, problems and even your fears. When you identify the issues, we can work together on a strategy to achieve the outcome you desire.
You can attend as an individual or with your partner. Sometimes people feel more at ease if they bring someone they feel comfortable with, even if it is just for the first session.
Counselling can cover a range of topics including relationships, careers, trauma, substance abuse, grief, depression and anxiety. Ultimately, I am there to support you with whatever you are going through.
If you need assistance, reach out. I will ensure you are in a safe, confidential environment, and provide you an opportunity to review, reassess and gain clarity for your new direction.
You will receive genuine, caring and empathetic responses from me. Your situation is not the same as any other person, so you will get a personalised approach. I will support you throughout the process and our time together..
I will not give my own opinion or advice. What I will do, is use trusted tools and strategies to support your outcomes.
If you are feeling emotionally challenged, confused and feeling lost, counselling may be the answer you are searching for and what you need right now.
As a result of our sessions together, you could become more confident, have a better understanding of yourself, feel emotionally stronger and have a higher self-esteem.
There is nothing to lose by seeking counselling, yet there is a lot to gain.
